SM: Genzyme has again rejected a hostile takeover bid from Sanofi-Aventis. In its announcement, Genzyme said it is rejecting the $69 per share offer because it fails to recognize the company's value and plan to increase shareholder value. Sanofi has made previous attempts at a takeover, which Genzyme rejected. Genzyme noted in its most recent announcement that the current offer is not substantially different than the others.
